Venue Location

The Venue is located on Tybee Island, a barrier island accessible by car from Historic Savannah, Georgia. Tybee Island, Georgia is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean. Tybee is a small island just 3½ miles long with sandy beaches that wrap the island in length 6 ½ miles.

The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel and Grand Ballroom are located on the marsh as you first drive onto Island.

Land Activities

Not everything on Tybee Island involves you jumping into the water and getting wet. Though Tybee Island is small there are so many things to see. To really see the Island we recommend bicycling, rollerblading, or, renting a golf cart to take in all the sights, sounds, and smalls of Tybee. Try also touring Little Tybee, visit historic Fort Pulaski and Fort Screven, learn all about sea life at the new Tybee Island Marine Science Center, numerous parks and playgrounds, along with abundant wildlife at the Oatland Island Wildlife Center.

Tybee Island is known for it’s unique locally owned artist shops and locally owned restaurants. Across the street from the Chapel & Ballroom is The Oaks shopping center. The Oaks has many popular shops including Seaside Sisters. Seaside Sisters has unique gifts that you will not find anywhere else besides on Tybee Island. While shopping in The Oaks make sure that you stop into the local coffee ship, Tybean. The south end of Tybee Island has many other beach shops where you will be sure to find the perfect Tybee souvenir.
