Born and raised in the heart of Savannah, Georgia, Alexis has deep roots in this historic and romantic city. She’s not just a wedding venue representative; she’s a loving mother to her daughter, Brooklyn, and happily married to her husband, Matthew. Family is everything to Alexis, and she cherishes spending time with her loved ones, her two cats, and her loyal dog.
When she’s not enjoying quality time with family and friends, you can often find Alexis’s indulging in her passion for movies, with “The Devil Wears Prada” taking the top spot on her list of all-time favorites and a sweet spot for all things Leonardo DiCaprio.
Alexis has a fondness for the summer season and finds solace in lounging by the pool. With her warm and welcoming personality, Alexis Gillis is a key figure at the Tybee Wedding Chapel and is always delighted by the uniqueness of each wedding. Introducing Christy Jackson, a warm and welcoming presence at the Tybee Wedding Chapel. Originally from Watkinsville, Georgia, a stone’s throw away from Athens, Christy’s love for this coastal haven runs deep. She’s not just a wedding venue representative; she’s a devoted mom to two precious kiddos, aged 9 and 4. When she’s not immersed in wedding magic, you’ll likely find Christy immersed in a good book, in her favorite yoga class, or sipping on a cup of coffee.
Christy’s heart swells with every wedding she witnesses at the chapel, as she’s an incurable romantic with dreams of her own big day under its roof. Her cherished memories include sunny days on the beach, building sandcastles with her kids, and basking in the warm coastal breeze while engrossed in a captivating book. Beyond her passion for weddings, Christy is a devoted Braves fan, cheering on her team with unwavering enthusiasm. She found her true sense of home, peace, and ease on this island, where she discovered her dream job in weddings and hospitality. Working on Tybee Island has become more than a career—it’s a heartfelt connection to a place she deeply treasures.
