Ceremony Sanctuary

The venue’s elegant ceremony sanctuary is the perfect back drop for a dream Savannah ceremony. Three large Antique gold chandeliers and the original rustic hardwood floors allow you to decorate as minimally or elaborately as you would like. The venue’s ceremony sanctuary features antique wooden pews, parlor grand piano, black chiavari chairs and audio visual system.

The sanctuary is located in the upper level of the venue. A curved double staircase will invite your wedding guests onto the 1,000 square foot wood porch. The porch may also be accessed by using the handicap ramp located on the east side of the building. The porch was built around a large Oak tree. Guests will be in awe of this eco friendly feature. Benches align the venue’s porch, and act as a perfect gathering spot for wedding guests as they arrive. Doors leading into the sanctuary have been designed to replicate the details of chapel doors that existed over a 100 years ago.

Grand Ballroom

Trimmed in golds, creams, and detailed trim woodwork, the venue’s Ballroom offers you the opportunity to have your dream wedding reception that will leave your guests talking for years to come! The expansive Grand Ballroom is located on the ground level of the venue with 2800 square footage of reception space. Connecting from the Cocktail Lounge allows for an easy flow from cocktail hour into your wedding reception.

The venue’s wedding event furniture and flexible reception layouts ensure that no two weddings look exactly alike. The venue staff will be more than willing to work on layouts that are specific to your wedding day needs so that you will have the opportunity to see exactly how your wedding reception will be laid out. The ballroom also includes an 11-ft. projector screen and state-of-the-art modern visual systems which are available for a photo slideshow or a monogram to display for your guests.

The Grounds & Butterfly Garden

The outdoor areas of this beautiful destination wedding venue highlight the southern charm that draws so many couples to our area. Outside spaces include a patio that looks onto Tybee Island’s tidewater creek and is easily accessible directly from the Grand Ballroom. Landscaped with butterfly flowers, beautiful trees, natural greenery and quaint accents our outdoor spaces are gorgeous backdrops for photos and comfortable areas for gathering. 

The venue also offers onsite parking for up to 60 vehicles on the lush lawn of the event grounds.

Bridal Suite & Groom’s Quarters

Prepare for your big day in the luxurious custom built Bridal Suite. The Bridal suite overlooks the venue estate grounds so that you may see your guests as they arrive for your Wedding ceremony. The suite is equipped with 12ft custom mirror, large white leather sofa, HD cable TV, sinks and restrooms. Many Savannah, Georgia hair and make-up vendors are more than willing to offer on site services for your Wedding day.

The expanded Groom’s Quarters is accessed from the balcony that overlooks the Grand Ballroom or the Chapel’s ceremony sanctuary. The Groom’s quarters features HD cable TV, wet bar, private restroom and a beautiful view of the Tybee Island tidewater creek.

Cocktail Lounge

The venue’s Cocktail lounge is located on the ground level. Connecting to the Cocktail lounge is the Grand Ballroom. The Cocktail lounge may also serve as additional wedding reception event space.

The Cocktail lounge features custom special event furniture such as 12 ft. curved bar and gold settee. A wall mounted 60 inch HD television is in venue lounge and syncs to the large projector in the Grand ballroom. This TV may be used to display a photo slide show, commercial, menu, etc. Directly outside of the Cocktail lounge is a covered patio area with hanging double swings, vintage antique outdoor furniture and two restrooms. This area of the venue allows you to incorporate outdoor event space into your Wedding reception.

The Balcony

The venue features 1,000 square foot veranda with an enormous Oak tree that comes through the porch. Benches align the venue’s patio, and act as a perfect gathering spot for wedding guests as they arrive for your unforgettable Tybee Island destination wedding ceremony. Had you invisioned a Savannah wedding with traditional southern weather and grand outdoor sceneries. The Balcony offers amazing photo opportunities with our gardens and outdoor spaces as brilliant backdrops to the beautiful white railings, wood decking, and chapel architecture.

The Catering Kitchens

The Tybee Island Wedding Chapel & Grand Ballroom has two catering kitchens on-site for your wedding day. The main catering kitchen is located on the ground level just off the ballroom. Inside this space your catering team has access to two refrigerators and a half-freezer, a warming tray, and microwaves to prepare for your event.

The secondary catering kitchen is upstairs just off of the ceremony sanctuary space. There is an oven and their own private bathroom. The venue also includes a 300-pound ice machine.
